Peter Andre May Have Meningitis
Peter Andre is undergoing hospital tests for suspected meningitis, the singer's publicist has confirmed.
His glamour model wife Jordan has been at the reality TV star's bedside for the last five days after the 34-year-old was admitted to hospital last weekend.
Andre was first taken to East Surrey Hospital on Saturday after falling ill at the couple's Ockley home, but despite being discharged the following day he was forced to return on Sunday evening.
"Following recent tests on Peter Andre at the East Surrey Hospital, it is believed that Peter is suffering from suspected meningitis," a spokeswoman for the couple said.
"Peter was admitted last weekend, and at this time we do not have an expected date of discharge."
Friends of Jordan, real name Katie Price, say the model is "frantic with worry".
"Obviously she's desperate to get to the bottom of what's wrong."
Jordan and Andre, who married in 2005, have a one-year-old son named Junior and are expecting their second child in June.
The model's four-year-old son with footballer Dwight Yorke, Harvey Daniel, was taken to hospital last year after scolding himself in a bath.
